The Tailored Taproom Commercial and Residential Fixture Warranty

At The Tailored Taproom, we believe in Performance over Hype. Our stainless steel fixtures are fabricated for long-term commercial and residential use, with an emphasis on structural integrity, dependable installation, and serviceable construction.

This limited warranty explains what is covered, what is excluded, and how to submit a warranty claim.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Coverage

The Tailored Taproom warrants to the original purchaser that the welded seams and structural components of an eligible Tailored Taproom fixture will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for as long as:

  • The original purchaser owns the fixture.

  • The fixture remains installed at its original installation location.

  • The fixture has been installed, used, and maintained according to our published instructions.

This coverage applies only to structural components fabricated by The Tailored Taproom.

What the Limited Lifetime Warranty Covers

Covered structural defects may include:

  • Failure of a factory-welded seam under normal use

  • Failure of a factory-installed mounting bracket

  • Loss of structural integrity caused by a defect in materials or workmanship

  • Separation or failure of a structural component fabricated by The Tailored Taproom

If a covered structural defect is confirmed, The Tailored Taproom will, at its discretion:

  • Repair the fixture

  • Provide replacement components

  • Authorize an approved field-repair solution

  • Replace the stainless steel fixture

Repair or replacement is limited to the affected fixture or component.

Two-Year Limited Mechanical and Finish Warranty

For two years from the original delivery date, The Tailored Taproom warrants eligible mechanical components manufactured by The Tailored Taproom and factory-applied surface treatments against manufacturing defects.

Depending on the product, this coverage may include:

  • Tailored Taproom-manufactured diffuser components

  • Product-specific internal stainless steel components

  • Manufacturing defects in the Signature Spiral Abrasion finish

  • Material inconsistencies caused by an error during the factory finishing process

This warranty does not cover normal cosmetic changes, scratches, scuffs, staining, finish wear, or damage caused after delivery.

Warranty Exclusions

This limited warranty applies to manufacturing and fabrication defects. It does not cover damage, deterioration, or performance issues caused by conditions outside the control of The Tailored Taproom.

Chemical Damage and Improper Cleaning

The warranty does not cover corrosion, pitting, staining, rust blooms, discoloration, or surface damage caused by:

  • Bleach or chlorine-based cleaners

  • Hydrochloric or muriatic acid

  • Chloride-heavy chemicals

  • Non-approved descaling products

  • Harsh commercial cleaning chemicals

  • Steel wool, wire brushes, or abrasive scouring tools

  • Failure to rinse or maintain the stainless steel surface properly

Only stainless steel-safe cleaning products and non-abrasive cleaning methods should be used.

Improper Installation or Site Conditions

The warranty does not cover damage or performance issues caused by:

  • Installation that does not follow the published instructions

  • Improper mounting or insufficient wall support

  • Incorrect plumbing connections

  • Inadequate drainage

  • Insufficient water pressure

  • Excessive water pressure

  • Improper rough-in dimensions

  • Freezing conditions

  • Failure to comply with applicable plumbing or building requirements

  • Incompatible site conditions

Installation must be completed by qualified personnel when required by local codes or site conditions.

Mechanical Abuse, Impact, and Misuse

The warranty does not cover:

  • Dents, scratches, gouges, or deformation

  • Impact damage

  • Vandalism

  • Misuse or abnormal use

  • Overloading

  • Unauthorized alterations

  • Cutting, drilling, welding, or modification after delivery

  • Repairs performed without prior written authorization

  • Damage caused by fire, flood, freezing, or other external events

Third-Party Plumbing and Mechanical Components

Flushometers, flush valves, faucets, drains, P-traps, supply lines, fasteners, and other components manufactured by third parties are not covered by The Tailored Taproom warranty.

These components may be covered by the warranty provided by their original manufacturer.

The inclusion of a third-party component in a complete fixture kit does not extend The Tailored Taproom’s structural warranty to that component.

Stainless Steel Discoloration and Tea Staining

Stainless steel may develop surface discoloration or tea staining when exposed to:

  • Iron-rich water

  • Chlorides or salts

  • Harsh cleaning chemicals

  • Metal contamination

  • Inadequate cleaning

  • Standing moisture

  • Aggressive commercial environments

Surface staining that can be removed through proper cleaning is considered a maintenance condition and is not a manufacturing defect.

Normal Wear and Cosmetic Variations

The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear

  • Minor finish variation

  • Cosmetic aging

  • Scratches or scuffs from use

  • Changes in sheen or surface appearance

  • Variations inherent to reclaimed or repurposed stainless steel keg shells

  • Minor fabrication marks that do not affect performance or structural integrity

These characteristics do not reduce the intended function of the fixture.

Shipping Damage

Shipping damage must be reported promptly after delivery and handled according to the applicable freight or parcel-carrier claim process.

Damage that occurs during shipping is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Customers should inspect all packages and fixtures immediately upon delivery and retain the packaging until the fixture has been inspected.

Resold, Relocated, or Secondhand Products

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Coverage ends if the fixture is:

  • Sold or transferred to another owner

  • Removed from its original installation location

  • Purchased secondhand

  • Purchased through an unauthorized seller

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To request warranty evaluation, email:

Include the following:

  • Original order number

  • Purchaser name

  • Product name

  • Installation location

  • Date the issue was first observed

  • Clear, high-resolution photographs

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photographs showing the complete installation when relevant

The Tailored Taproom may request additional photographs, measurements, installation details, cleaning history, or supporting documentation before making a warranty determination.

Warranty Claim Evaluation

We will make a reasonable effort to review complete warranty submissions within three business days.

If the issue is determined to be a covered manufacturing or fabrication defect, The Tailored Taproom may provide:

  • Replacement components

  • Repair instructions

  • An authorized field-repair solution

  • A return authorization

  • A repaired or replacement fixture

No product should be returned without prior authorization.

Shipping, Labor, and Installation Costs

Unless otherwise approved in writing, the customer is responsible for:

  • Fixture removal

  • Reinstallation

  • Plumbing labor

  • Electrical labor

  • Contractor charges

  • Access equipment

  • Wall or finish repairs

  • Packaging

  • Freight to The Tailored Taproom

The Tailored Taproom may, at its discretion, cover or reimburse reasonable shipping costs when a confirmed manufacturing defect requires the return or replacement of a fixture.

Replacement fixtures or components may not be shipped until the original fixture has been evaluated or other claim requirements have been completed.

Limitation of Liability

The Tailored Taproom’s responsibility under this limited warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the affected Tailored Taproom-manufactured fixture or component.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Tailored Taproom is not responsible for:

  • Labor charges

  • Removal or reinstallation expenses

  • Plumbing or electrical work

  • Loss of use

  • Business interruption

  • Lost revenue

  • Property damage

  • Incidental damages

  • Indirect damages

  • Consequential damages

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to every purchaser.

Additional Warranty Terms

This limited warranty provides specific legal rights. Purchasers may also have other rights that vary by state, province, or jurisdiction.

No employee, installer, reseller, contractor, or representative is authorized to modify or expand this warranty unless the change is provided in writing by The Tailored Taproom.

The Tailored Taproom reserves the right to update this warranty for future purchases. The warranty terms in effect on the original purchase date will apply to that purchase.

Limited Lifetime Warranty Summary

The Tailored Taproom provides:

  • Limited lifetime coverage for welded seams and structural fixture components

  • One-year coverage for eligible Tailored Taproom-manufactured mechanical components

  • One-year coverage for eligible factory-applied surface treatments

  • Product evaluation and repair or replacement for confirmed covered defects

Third-party plumbing hardware, improper installation, chemical damage, normal wear, cosmetic damage, and maintenance-related staining are not covered.
